WBMA is a professional development organization aimed at enhancing access to the field of communications for students and professionals of color. We help the media better reflect a more multiracial community in their staff and products.

About the WBMA

The Wisconsin Black Media Association is a chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists. This chapter is a non-profit organization that covers the entire state of Wisconsin.

One of the main goals of the organization is to give a platform to African American journalists and to make sure our voices are reflected in the news and our numbers in media are kept strong.
